2002 Mustang GT Transmission Leak

Message:

I have an automatic 2002 Ford Mustang GT. I was stuck in the snow and had to "rock" the car back and forth to get out. This took about 20 minutes of "rocking" to get the car free. After I got the car free, I went to the mall. After getting out of the car, I noticed a really strong burnt smell. About a week later, I noticed I have a small leak from the rear of the transmission. The funny thing is that only leaks when the car is parked on a slope where the front end of the car is raised (i.e. my driveway). The car doesn't leak when it is parked on a level surface or when I back it into my driveway so that the back end is raised. The fluid level is fine despite the leaks so far and it doesn't appear to be burnt. Do you think that being stuck in the snow and rocking the car back and forth for that long caused the leak? Also, why does it only leak when it is parked with the front end of the car raised?

Thanks,
Mark
