i have an automatic transmission in a 1978 ford f250. the transmission was fine and now it won't shift or move. i removed the pan and drained it. could over filling the transmission be the cause of this problem? is there an overflow on this type of transmission? i will replace the gasket and the filter, but i can't find out how much fluid i should put in. any advice regarding this problem would be most appreciated. feel free to e-mail me directly at d_sens_c@hotmail.com
